We’re looking for a new iron as ours is starting to get a little fidgety and only makes steam when it decides we need steam.
Specifically, we’re looking at the steam generator type irons - they’re a more professional sort of iron with a separate boiler unit that sits on the floor or wherever. While this might be a little overkill for keeping the corporate duds spiffy, some of our costuming really needs a good slug of steam now and then and the old iron just doesn’t do it.
Anyone have experiences with these? The one that’s at the top of our list so far, is the Rowenta Expert. Any other brands worth looking at?
