I've got one of those newfangled Scooters!

Yeah!

It took me two months or so but I finally found and purchased a sleek new JD Razor Scooter.

It’s got front suspension, a wheelie bar, flashing lights…Woo!

And it rides so smooth. Haven’t fallen. Yet.

Some of the kids around here have scooters too but I’m the only with the JD Razor (the latest model).

Ok…so I’m a dork. I know. But…but…it’s so much fun!

Enjoy, but I should tell you that I already have one grandkid in a cast and another that is wearing some patches of hamburger.

DAMN, but those things look like fun!

Shcooters are evil (yes, I purposely put in the h, because a dork named Frank rides his shcooter (he has a lishp.))

YOU MUST DIE! I will vanquish your evil!

Just let me transform into my superhero pesona, Captain Sarcasm!..Aw hell, no time left.

Filthy, sorry about your grandkids. Yeah, the majority of injuries from the scooters have happened to children. The scooters look like kids’ toys but they can be dangerous too. I (points at self proudly) am no little kid…though I still act like it on occasion. Like…er…goofing off on my newest toy and riding it in the hallways of my office.

bouv…nyah nyah! I-got-a-scooter! I-got-a-scooter! Nyah!

When we were kids, in my old neighborhood, only the little loser boys had scooters. 'Cause they couldn’t ride bikes.
:wally

Hey!

I’m not a boy!

You got me on the other things though…

Gee, how cool is that? I bet it’ll look great next to your Singing Billy Bass and Rubik’s Cube.

Estrella,
I’m GREEN with envy.

I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one! I want one!

Is yours foot powered or battery? (or gas). I’m dying to have a powered one.

Always remember- it’s never too late to have a happy childhood!

Zette

Howdy Zette,

It’s foot-powered. And dag nabit, my leg is tired! No lie. You carry all your weight on one leg, balance on the other when you have enough speed…works your inner thighs and upper leg. I’ve tried switching legs but I can’t balance as well on my left.

I wanted a Zappy at first, (the motorized scooters) but those run between $400 and $600. sigh oh well.

My Razor will do. I just need to add a Billy Bass to the handlebars and I’ll be so stylin’.

I have a Razor. It’s a blast!

**Estrella

Filthy, sorry about your grandkids

Ain’t no big deal. I got tough grandkids. The one in the plaster - well fiberglass, these days - rides Motocross and the other likes to go snake hunting with the old man.

Luck and enjoy.

I had a scooter in the 60s! Those were fun, with much larger wheels.
