I've returned from Las Vegas...only to realize reality/work sucks!!!

I just got back from Las Vegas…the fantasy away from earth! That place is a world in its own. I’m usually a die hard stock market watcher, pay attention to headline news, etc. but I didn’t even see any of that or think of it last week.
I stepped off the plane into a verital Disneyland the size of a city, and party’d almost nonstop until I got back on the plane. If you guys haven’t been to Vegas, get there someday…all I can say is wow!!!
I even won some money…came back with 5 times the amount I took with me, God I love High limit BlackJack tables. It’s amazing the twists and turns of gambling. One minute your down, the next minute your up, then your even, and if your smart, you walk away when ahead!

I stayed at Bellagio, Paris, and Bally’s. Probably the most impressive thing I saw was the art gallery at the Bellagio. They had gathered about 30 paintings, masterpieces from a clever combination of the worlds most famous artists in history…Picasso, Renoir, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and several others of no less reputation than these. If you love art as I do, this gallery is one to see, it rivals some of the best I’ve been to in the United States.

Thank God I’m back, I’m almost moved into the new house, and vacation was wonderful…but then here I sit at work…realizing the real world is a bitch sometimes, and doesn’t reality suck!

In my limited experience, I’ve discovered everyone is an idiot until they’ve proven themselves otherwise!

I was there last October and again in November, I will he heading off again May 7th, 8th, and 9th. It’s great to live within a days drive or a $49.00 airfare (when they go on special).

What a great place!

Pardon me while I burst into flames.

I live there (here). Man… I wish it was like that for me! For me its just my daily grind. Granted… there are lots of things to do… but the people who live here cant afford them!

I’ve never been to Vegas, but I’ve been to Atlantic City far far too many times to count. I must admit,I too, am addicted to the blackjack tables. I agree with you 100 % SS, you gotta know when to walk out. I’ve never really lost money because of that very rule, you win big walk out, you lose what you came to play with, walk out, either way you are ahead. But, I digress.

What I really wanted to comment on is the fact that I have never been able to get drunk in Atlantic City, at least not while gambling, and I have tried, Lord knows I have tried. My friends and my sisters say they experience the same thing. What’s up with that?? Too into the game to let the booze take over? I don’t doubt the free drinks are not the strongest, but I have brought my own provisions to indulge in while in my suite and still to no avail. Strange.
