Well, I approach matters by comparing hypotheses and deciding which one is most probably true. I do this knowing that the future will give me more information and therefore a clearer picture and that this will cause me to update my original hypotheses. That's what makes me a skeptic.

I’m not sure why this one topic is the all-consuming deal in your life. It doesn’t matter, really; you know, it’s ok to have a passion, a cause, a whatever. It’s part of creating ourselves. As someone older and wiser, however, let me tell you one thing: this whole circumcision thing? it’s really not all that important. It really isn’t. No. It’s not. Trust me. Have I ever flamed or insulted you? Do I have anything to gain by putting you on or pulling your leg? There’s a lot of other really big stuff that’s worth fighting for, that’s worth investing your time and energies. Stuff that’s bigger and more important than this.

Robert Downy, Jr. is one of the very few celebrities that I don't know if he is cut or not. Jack Nicholson is another celebrity whose status is unknown. My bet is that Nicholson is intact. I don't know about Robert Downy, Jr., though. Could he be intact? He does seem like a really nice guy. I've heard some people say that Robert Downy, Jr. is gay or bi. But, if that's the case, he sure isn't a promiscuous gay because his status would be known in a second if he was. Even if he was a promiscuous straight, his status would be known before too long. OK, I have failed to make myself clear on my motivation here. Let's set aside the moral obligation that all decent people take upon themselves to protect helpless people, such as infants, from harm. Let's assume that it's all about me. You're saying that it has something to do with my finding some passion in order to define myself. Maybe you're right to some extent. You're saying that I should just leave it alone and just live my life and be happy. I'm afraid that we just don't see things the same way. Just like the founding father said, <paraphrase> the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. It is because people here long before I was born were not vigilant that today we are all faced with a sexual holocaust. It is because of this lack of vigilance that today we are looking at the very real potential for our civilization to be destroyed. No, no, no. No, it's not OK. They need to leave those babies alone. We need to hold this heavily damaged society together long enough to replace these damaged men with normal men. And, we need to try and fix these damaged men.
