Perhaps my television reception is bad, but I’ve watched James Blunt’s “You’re Beautiful” video several times, and I still can’t make out the items he takes out of his pockets and carefully places in a single row in front of him. I really don’t know why, but for some reason this is really bugging me! Do they mean something? Anyone know what they are?
I haven’t made a close study of it, but I seem to recall them being the ordinary things found in a young man’s pocket - wallet, cell, keys?
Check for the vid on www.youtube.com and see.
Rizzlas, 'baccy, roaches…
It could have been a much better video if he hadn’t stopped taking things off…ah well
My co-worker seems to think that he’s comitting suicide at the end of the video. Anyone else get that impression? Not me.
I am unsure as to the pocket contents but the sucide question came up with us as well. I don’t think it was. It seems inconsistant to remove your shirt, shoes and socks as well as all your valuables (like the watch) if your expecting to die. Looks more like preperation to swim to me. Additionally, the first line of the some is “My Life Is Brilliant”.
This song, by the way, has become a favorite around our house.
the first line of the SONG is “My Life Is Brilliant”. :smack:
Alternativley, “My wife is pregnant”
Blunt really did that dive at the end, right? I’m sure his army training would have enabled him.
