When I searched to see if James Otto had made any public comment about McCready’s death, I didn’t think at first to just find his Twitter account. Instead, what I did was I Googled “James Otto” “Mindy McCready”.
Right now, if any James Otto fans find themselves wondering “Gee, I wonder if James has said anything about Mindy McCready” should they then do a Google search they will, on the very first page of results, be greeted with James Otto Sweet Heart and Damning Suicides to Hell.

This is entirely offensive. If someone feels it necessary to inflict the “blessings” of a god upon me, they should fuck themselves and realize it’s not so nice to everyone who hears it, ESPECIALLY if they mean Yahweh or Jehovah. Yeah, I don’t imagine there are a ton of people doing searches for the two of them together but I’m sure there is a not insignificant overlap of fans. It’s not too crazy to imagine that with her recent death in mind some fans may be Googling to see what’s being said by other artists.
Probably not at all a huge concern, still I’m sure that the man himself really wouldn’t like the title of this Thread to show up in front of too many (or any at all) eyes.
