I really never could accept the concepts of Heaven and Hell and God.
So let me get this straight.
God creates the entire universe and humans. Humans live for 50 to 80 years, and in that time, if they didn’t go around saying “Yeah God” and obeying all his rules, he then sends them to eternal torment. But if they don’t fuck up too badly after 50 to 80 years, then they get a mansion where the streets are paved with gold and are happy forever.
What sort of an egomaniac asshole would create the universe and sentient beings to give them a short trial period and then either eternal bliss or eternal damnation? It really makes no sense.

Yeah, that sounds right. If you search for East Tennesee gas prices for a couple days ago, you can narrow down her region to two cities, both economically inferior to Farragut, but with a higher percentage of college students/grads. I’d say that article is spot on for a huge swath of East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Sweet Heart’s attitude is sadly representative of a substantial population of the region.

I don’t think so. I opened a chrome window, which I don’t normally use, cleared the browsing history and restarted the browser for good measure. Then opened a new chrome window to google.com and typed in james otto sweet, and it autocompleted to sweet heart, this thread was the second in the list.
I only read and don’t post to my Twitter account so I may be wrong, but it looks as though Sweet Heart is blocked as her posts don’t appear in his feed or attached to the posts he comments in. Tweets from other fans appear, but hers don’t. Does that mean he’s not interested in sharing her whackadoodle whimsey with his other followers, or does that mean that can’t see her Tweets at all?
Obviously you didn’t see what I said two days ago in response to his RIP message. So in others words, you telling him something that I have already shared with him would be redundant.
Anyways, wow, a chat for little ole me (especially when I stand next to James who grew almost one foot more than me.). All that I can say is that if you do not like what comes from me, you know what you can do…ignore me which is what I do with a good deal of what I have found at this forum. Why have I never complained about what I don’t like here? Because I have no right to tell y’all to be quiet when you have a right to speak your mind here…just like I do.

Didn’t we have some previous poster who used the word “sweet heart” in their name but referred to a different country singer? I’ve never heard of James Otto before, and I don’t think I’d heard of the other one either, which is why I don’t really remember. But maybe it’s the same poster and I just forgot who James Otto was all over again.
Probably the same. She had a thread all about James Otto that was just something she’d copypasta’d all over the net in various places. The mods eventually closed it when they found out she’d been spamming, but since it’d taken so long (a few months, I believe), they let her stick around.
Worse, many Humans are given hellish lives, often cut short before they’re even marginally aware of the world, and yet it is claimed that they too are judged not by their behavior, but by their faith in God in those brief moments of torment.
What kind of sick monster would give a person over to a brief life of torment, and then because they didn’t worship him, decide to make that torment eternal?

Also, no one is telling you to be quiet. On the contrary, I think everyone, including the poor beleaguered James Otto, is completely willing to let you make a total fool out of yourself. What the point of this thread is is calling out how hateful and harmful your mindset is and those who profess to believe the same. It’s because of your judgmentalness (which I understand that your God has cautioned you against doing) that many people suffering from mental illness don’t seek help or get the help they need, are isolated and alone, and end up hating themselves to the point that they take their own life. That is pathetic and I feel sorry for you. I’m so glad that my God is not your God anymore. I couldn’t face myself every day if I did.
