James Otto Sweet Heart and Damning Suicides to Hell

^^^ I never changed my “sign off” as you call it.
God bless you always!!!
Holly

Your Honor, the defendant does and can change under instruction from someone underneath the Lord, and is in fact capable of lying and willingly does so…

I rest my case, Your Honor.

^^^ I still crack for no one underneath the Lord.
God bless you always!!!
Holly

Not even for Jimmy? He’s cracked a whole lot of corn. Just sayin.

Yes you did; you don’t space out “Holly” and “God bless you always” like you used to. You also stopped using the smileys. And I am happy for that. That was my suggestionin order to make your sign-off less annoying, remember? So no need to deny something you did that was actually good.

^^^ God bless you always is my sign off which never went any where and it never will.
God bless you always!!!
Holly

But you do crack for the Lord, underneath Him?

^^^ If the Lord tells me to crack by changing in any way, I will. So far though I have not heard a thing from him. Therefore I must be doing something right.
God bless you always!!!
Holly

It’s funny how some people can pretend to virtue by objecting to profanity, and yet demonstrate far more inhumanity within polite language.

It would have cost you nothing and gained you much to modify your sign-off and stop calling this a “chat”. That you refuse to do so shows very clearly where your priorities are: with yourself and your petty pride.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t pride the original and most serious of the 7 deadly sins? :stuck_out_tongue:

What is it exactly that y’all lose by me calling it a chat in stead of a thread like the rest of you people? Nothing.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. What do you lost by anything that I have to say here or anywhere else online? Nothing.

The spirochaete of her petty pride
is what makes it sweet that she’s on god’s side.

This is basically like saying, “What is it exactly that y’all lose by me calling it a pear instead of an apple like the rest of you people? Nothing.”

^^^ That is a different situation. This may be a thread like y’all think, but since chatting is what we do in it, a chat is what I choose to call it.
God bless you always!!!
Holly

Why? It’s called what it’s called.

Nouns and verbs are different. The name of the thing (the noun) is a thread. The action, as you describe it, (verb) is chatting.

If you reading a book would it make sense to call the book a “read”? Do you call your phone a “chat”?

^^^ A thread is what you people have decided to call it or whoever first decided to call it that. That doesn’t mean that everyone has to call it that.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. If you don’t know by now that I blaze my own trail whether I have company or not, that is all on you.

I think I may understand! Maybe she thinks we have just decided to call it a thread, instead of it being the actual name for what it is? If so, kindly check the registration agreement, it clearly refers to threads.

Registration agreement:

“Do not post the same or similar messages or threads to multiple forums; multiple threads on the same topic; or an excessive number of threads on any topic within a limited period of time. Do not start threads expressly for the purpose of meeting other posters for romantic or sexual purposes. We will notify the Internet service provider of any party posting objectionable messages.”

It’s not a word we made up cause that’s what we wanna call it.

So no, it is no different that calling a cat a dog, calling an apple a pear, or calling you Helly instead of Holly. Words have meanings. This is a thread.

Thats kind of how words work. Meanings get assigned over time and they actually become a fact. Sometimes words evolve (like thread being string has expanded include this use). Some meanings become obsolete.

But individuals just not get to look at a word and say “yeah, forget it. I’m not doing it that way and you can’t make me”

^^^ Nothing that you say is going to make me crack.

It may be a thread to the rest of y’all, but it is a chat to me since that is what is done in it and as of right now, my giving it another name is not a crime.
God bless you two always!!!
Holly

Maybe not, but it is quite narcissistic and prideful.
