I believe the committee wove in other video to ms pelosi’s footage to show what was going on outside during the leadership calls inside.
This bit (how much and how early the SS knew about impending violence, and how much the crowd was likely to be armed) was one of my big surprises today. I didn’t want to believe how thoroughly the SS had been suborned by and/or infiltrated with Trump loyalists. Otherwise, why wouldn’t their chief have said something to the other services charged with protecting the Capitol?
I guess the secret service isn’t merely expected to lay their lives down for the president, but to sell their very souls.
A new piece of video from Jan 6 shows pelosi being told that the secret service will not allow trump to come to the capitol. She states she would punch him in the face if he came up, and go to jail happy.
Well, he already has a leitmotiv, “If I had a Heart” by Fever Ray.

I can tell which parts he wrote himself (using some sort of royal we) and which parts a staffer did for him. Ugh. Now I want to bleach my brain.
He sends a mob of thousands to murder her, her colleagues, and the Vice President, and she threatens to punch him in the nose. How are they any different? 
His basic argument seems to be that the discrepancies between the popular vote and the electoral college vote prove that someone must be cheating.
I remember, back in 2017, that everyone was saying that Trump had simply had a better Electoral College strategy and that Hillary had blundered by focusing on the popular vote and ignoring the College.
I thought that Trump was one of the people who was saying that. If so, I can’t find it. He does seem to have been fairly consistent through the years in thinking that the Electoral College is a system for cheating.
Of course, he would never have been President if he’d had his way. So, by his own explanation, he must have cheated in 2016. The EC vote should match the popular vote. Only when it doesn’t, did someone cheat.
No, it just means that a system that gives rural states one vote each for people, cows, and tumbleweeds has a built-in Republican bias, explaining how they remain competitive in Presidential elections despite routinely losing in the popular vote tally.
