I’m wanting to see a reenactment of the wheel grabbing. Which side was trump on, and which arm did he grab with? If he was on the right, and grabbed with his right hand, his left hand could go for the throat. It’s quite a reach from the back seat to the wheel- he would have been half way over the seat back.
The ketchup is how we know it was done by Trump. If it had been a Pence tantrum, she’d have had to clean up mayonnaise instead.

I got to hear a good portion of the testimony today while driving in my car. Hutchinson did a great job, but if I had “something to the effect of” on my drinking game bingo card, I’d now be dead.

Re the “plead the 5th” issue:
In a criminal case, a defendant has a 5th amendment right not to testify. But if they waive it and choose to testify, they have to answer all of the questions that are asked.
When a person is subpoenaed to testify, meanwhile, they are being compelled to testify. This might be in a deposition, for example. In this case, where the person is being required to sit for questioning, they can selectively invoke the 5th amendment in not answering those questions which might tend to incriminate them.
"The former President’s attempt to distance himself from Hutchinson, whom he described as “bad news” on Tuesday, came after the committee showed renderings of the West Wing to demonstrate just how close she was to the Oval Office as an assistant to Meadows. Multiple former White House aides also publicly vouched for Hutchinson’s proximity to Trump and his chief of staff before and during her appearance on Tuesday.
Anyone downplaying Cassidy Hutchinson’s role or her access in the West Wing either doesn’t understand how the Trump [White House] worked or is attempting to discredit her because they’re scared of how damning this testimony is," former White House deputy press secretary Sarah Matthews tweeted.
In response to this, one former White House aide said, “everyone high up at the WH knew her. And even if Trump didn’t know her name he most certainly recognized her. She traveled on AF1 with Mark for every trip.” Additionally, this former aide said that while Tuesday’s testimony was crazy, it’s also 100% believable given what this person knew after working in the White House."
However, this is a distraction! Who gives a shit if it actually happened. It’s the least important thing that was said all day. It’s a tactic to try to change the conversation into a he-said-she-said on some bullshit. Wanting to go to the Capitol, knowing the crowd had weapons, saying Pence deserved to be hanged, removing the magnetometers, etc. That’s what’s important.
The president wasn’t in the actual beast. He was in the suv that he was in during the Walter reed Covid ride. He could have reached into the front seat of the vehicle. And you do see arm movement from the back seat in the video.
He would not have been able to reach the front if he was in the huge limo beast.
They used the suv that day as it is more agile and trump preferred the feel of the vehicle.
No they haven’t. The slant now is that Brave Sir Trump wanted to go to the Capitol, but the deep state stopped him. And Hutchinson’s testimony is all fake anyway.
