Nothing’s Shocking in general. I don’t get Pigs In Zen, but the rest of the songs move me to tears. I’m such a softie!
I am appreciating Jane’s Addiction today.

Ooh. Thanks for the reminder – it’s been awhile since I popped it in the CD player.
Last time was a couple months ago, when I realized that “Ted, Just Admit It” was about Ted Bundy. After doing some googling, I found contradictory statements by the band, some saying it was and some that it wasn’t. This was not too long after watching a documentary about Bundy, and I believe the voice sample is a quote.
Summertime Rolls still sends shivers up and down my spine, even after years of listening. Excuse me, I think I have to get it out and give it a spin…
Every time I think of that band, I remember doing an apartment cleanout and found a perfect-still in the tube poster of the original Ritual de lo Habitual album cover-the one that was subsequently banned. Although I liked them, I let my helper have it. :smack:
…Jane says!
Yeah, good band, good album (likewise for Ritual)
You were standing in the shower thinking about it, weren’t you?
Yup it was a direct quote from a Ted Bundy interview.
