How do I get rid of these things for good. I don’t believe I had the problem until I bought some flowers and flowering trees from a nursery a couple of months ago. I’ve read pro’s and con’s but nothing seems to be cure-all.
Help!

plant some wisteria. They LOVE wisteria. When they are in their love orgy /debauched gluttonous feast, kill them with some spray directly.
You WILL NOT ever get rid of them all. Make no mistake! They are here to stay.
Don’t go filling your yard up with poisons, try hitting them with spray adhesive like 3M 77 spray ( great for wasps too) their wings become inoperable and they die.
I’ve never had Japanese beetles in my roses until this year. Now, they’re everywhere!
My mother says she hasn’t had them for a few years, but they’re back for her, too.
The buggers come and go in Florida. When we have them nothing seems to kill them besides squishing them with your feet. They make loud popping sounds. GROSS!
I would call the Agriculture Dept in your area and ask them. They offer free advice and that is what they are there for.
Try not to use too many chemicals its bad for Mother Earth.
You can get Japanese Beetle traps at the local hardware store. I think they’re pheromone-based. They work pretty well – you end up with a plastic bag full of the varmints.
