Japanese? I need your help!

My fiance is trying to find someone willing to help him get an item from Yahoo Japan - it’s a 20 year old computer. It is inexpensive, and fairly lightweight, and we want to pay all shipping costs, etc, but the auctioneer has ticked the “For sale to Japan Only” box. My fiance doesn’t know how to contact the auctioneer (not being able to read Japanese) to see if he might consider selling to us even though we live in Australia. We were hoping someone here might be able to either contact the seller on our behalf to find out if he is willing to let us buy from him, or could act as a halfway house, accepting the parcel on our behalf and then shipping it on to Australia.
