Jasmine makes you nuts? Huh????

Anyone ever heard anything like this before?

forensic toxicologist Dr Susan Rice, who told him that certain jasmines can be hallucinogenic

So, are people using jasmine to hallucinate on purpose?
I thought I knew every way there was to get high, but this is new to me. Isn’t jasmine a very common herb?

Oh fudge, another thing I like is going to be outlawed!

I have serious, serious doubts on this one. I’ve been drinking jasmine tea for decades, sometimes in considerable quantities per day, and haven’t had anything of that sort happen to me. Which doesn’t, I suppose, prove it couldn’t happen but this is certainly the first I’ve heard of it. Seems to me, if it happened at all, this guy was in some way prone to that sort of mental dysfunction to begin with.
