I keep getting calls from all kinds of people, all of them frantic, begging me to do anything I can to keep this story out there. I never get their names; it seems rude to inquire too minutely at such a stressful moment.
I think this is my duty. If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the volume of sinkholes opened daily by the words of JD Vance, then, by God, I will invent them. Individual-ONE made his mark using the bury-'em-in-BS technique (yes, I know, “technique” is a far too flattering word) and Couchboy is trying to heave forward with same. It is not clear whether their stay-forefront spider-on-a-hotplate dance is benfitting them, because my inclination would be to respond with something like “that does not even merit comment” (as Ms Harris did in the Dana Bash interview). If people actually listen to your words, economy is often the better strategery.
If Vance doesn’t end up getting sued and taken to the cleaners for this, Alex Jones will actually have a legitimate complaint that he was unfairly singled out.
