When the folks at Breitbart are confronted with this question, they claim that it forced China to devalue its currency, thus paying for the tariffs. And yes, I do know that’s a dumb explanation. And yes, I do know that a devalued Chinese currency would increase imports. But they do not seem to know this.
If kids that age were to eat that much protein daily, their kidneys would probably be in for some serious damage before long.
So… in the likely case Mr. Vance is still a Senator come next Jan. 21, do we foresee possibly someone in the Ohio GOP challenging him in '28? Or would it have faded into the past by then?

Also, I heard on the news tonight that Senator Couchfucker has been intensively prepping for his debate with Tim Walz. I don’t think you can cram how to be an empathetic human being.
He’s already said that his debate prep consists of talking with this guy he knows who lies a lot.
How can Walz or anyone prep to go against total assholes, though? Do their mock opponents just start saying shocking things to get them ready?
i’m thinking more like looking at interview tapes, videos, speeches; then acting it out.
i’m sure walz will do well. the important thing is to listen to what vance says and point out the weird. i beleve walz has that down to a science.
Yes, they do. Or at least Kamala’s mock debater (who also prepped Hillary) did. In the brief piece I saw, they said he would interrupt, insult, lie, etc. Helps the candidate to think on their feet over such childishness.
I’ve seen a minor MAGA conspiracy that Walz abuses his son Gus, and my mind flooded with all of the horrible things that could be shouted to throw an opponent off of their game.

The rules are out for the VP debate. I want to know why Trump couldn’t have a countdown clock? And I dunno about chaos. Vance, for all of his many faults, isn’t Trump.

I’m also not sure why the rules have anything to do with chaos. Seems like a pretty regular setup for a debate.

Vance is going to come into this debate with absolute rock bottom expectations. I am afraid that unless Walz does to him what Kamala did to Trump he is going to get the win. This is a tall order as he is still a Yale Law grad, not a senile fool who never had two braincells to rub together at his peak.
On the other hand Vance was a corporal, and Walz was a master sargeant. Knowing how to handle upstart E-3/E-4’s is pretty much the job destription of a master sargeant.
Not to mention a much more experienced politician. And decent human being, which won’t count for as much as it should.
And a high school teacher/coach. This guy can handle it all.
