There’s plenty of angry stuff in the Christian testaments (some though not all of which @Velocity just quoted above) and plenty of stuff in the Pentateuch about social justice. If you want to say that they pick and choose from their own accepted Bible and ignore or misunderstand much of it, then say that. Don’t say that there’s anything particularly Jewish about it.

So naturally when Vance and his entourage showed up unannounced and expected to be treated like VIPs, it didn’t happen.
The question of the hour is, will JD Vance deign to shave before the debate on Tuesday? I grant that some men like to grow a beard, but that’s not what this is. It’s a comical affectation, much like the orange marmoset that lives atop the head of his boss. These two should be in a circus, not running for national office.
Judging someone on their appearance may sometimes be unfair or superficial, but in this case it reflects their seriously impaired judgment about almost everything.
The first clause may be true but of course many do anyway. The second? Have you seen pictures of him without his facial hair? This really is an improvement, as superficial as it may be.
His haircut is worse than the beard. Have you seen the back of his head? Looks like one of his kids cut his hair.
Speaking of which: has he ever said anything nice in public about his own children? Between the “they eat 14 eggs every morning” comment and the “shut the hell up” one, he seems to consider them a burden. Which is surprising for a man so obsessed with people having kids.
Maybe he’s secretly jealous of childless cat ladies?
I think he wants to imitate his idol Trump by treating them like crap, so they grow up strong and virtuous like Trump’s kids (and Trump himself of course).
Vance isn’t a true believer. He knows Trump’s full of shit and is using him to try and get power for himself.
Vance just started a family because he felt a social obligation to do so, regrets it, and hates people who chose differently because they “cheated”.
Perhaps. I’m not sure if he’s an opportunistic suck-up like Lindsay Graham or a real born-again convert. Either one is deplorable.

I was wondering if Vance resents his children because they’re mixed race. I just don’t understand why he never says anything positive about them. Even Trump throws his kids a complement sometimes.Vance acts like he thinks that the idea of raising children makes you virtuous but he doesn’t like the reality of having children.
I think Vance thinks this is how bros talk about their kids. I know a guy like this who thinks it’s hyuk-hyuk funny to bitch about his snot-nosed brats and his nagging wife. I mean these are not the types of men to emulate, especially when you’re running for high office, but Vance seems to struggle with how to be a normal man. He actually seems to be trying to figure out how to be a man in real time before our very eyes, and he’s modeling himself after terrible examples of manhood.
Yeah, my kickboxing teacher is kinda similar. He always tells jokes like he loves going to concerts because he can’t hear his wife for a few days and it’s paradise. He’s also a “my dad was rough with me and these kids have it so easy” type. I guess it’s a draw for some people.
