"Jeeves & Wooster" TV series question

Which was the episode in which Jeeves explained the proper syncopation for Wooster to play “Putting on the Ritz”? I’d like to see that again.

Ooh, good question. I’m pretty sure it was in the fourth (final) season. But without watching the shows (I have the full set), I couldn’t tell you which one, and so far I’m coming up empty in my searches.

As I recall, Jeeves’s explanation of the rhythm was remarkably incorrect. The horror! (Then again, Stephen Fry admits that he is tone deaf and can’t carry a tune in a bucket . . .)

Oooh that’s a great bit! I love all of Bertie’s piano playing and Jeeves’s reluctant accompaniment.

Third ep of the fourth season, “Bridegroom Wanted.” You can see the beginning here on Amazon though sadly, not all of it is available in the free preview. (If you want to rent the whole thing it’s 99cents.)

Thanks! I’ll check it out.

Now you’ve got me thinking:
“Hi-de-hi-de-hi-de-ho-sir”! :stuck_out_tongue:
