It sounds to me like being on suicide watch is fairly similar to being in isolation. Extended isolation is, in essence, torture. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a policy limit to how long they are allowed to do it.

Yes, Clinton took some flights with Epstein, but Epstein and Trump were good friends who palled around in the NY social scene extensively. As I said, Epstein was much closer to Trump than to Clinton.

I hate to go conspiracy theorist here but the timing is peculiar, particularly given that documents had started to come out disclosing names of individuals associated with one of Epstein’s sex workers. I rather doubt Bill Richardson and George Mitchell were the only names that would have come out, but those are the names we have for now - perhaps the only names we’ll ever have.
At this point, this being a straight up suicide with no input or help from others is the conspiracy theory.
With obvious vandalism on a regular page, the vandalism gets reverted and the IPs get blocked for a bit and/or it is semi-protected for a while so no more IPs vandalize it.
The Epstein page isn’t a regular page. It’s currently in the midst of a major news event and is going to have a bunch of eyes on it and a bunch of discussion on its content. It’s not going to be treated as a normal page.
Don’t forget, Wikipedia pages are never “stuck” or “done”. Every page is subject to change and (hopefully) improvement. You never stamp a page as done and leave it alone. It’s not a book going to a publisher to be in print for eternity. Some of the objections in this thread seem predicated on this misunderstanding.
