I am now so glad that Gen-X finally has a conspiracy theory comparable to the JFK assassination. Can’t wait for the JFK-esque movie in, oh, 27 years or so. Hope we’ll all be around by then!
They knew he was suicidal given the fact he made a failed attempt before and was put on suicide watch. The situation that caused him to become suicidal (his pending trial and likely conviction) did not change, so it’s likely that he’d try again given the opportunity.
I’m curious what reasoning there was for removing him from suicide watch. Was he given counseling and they received an expert opinion that he wouldn’t make a subsequent attempt? That’s the kind of info that I expect to come out later which might explain a bit about what led to this.
Has it been established that he hung himself? The initial reports say cause of death was undetermined.
Is every inmate supposed to be supervised? It’s prison not daycare.
I thought I had read that he had, but I must be thinking of his first attempt where he had “self harm” with “bruises around his neck”. So maybe not.
Supposedly his cell was under video surveillance so hopefully we’ll get word about what happened:
Not that hard if either 1) it was Epstein (through an intermediary) that paid people to look the other way or 2) the person who paid people to look the other way, strongly suggested to Epstein that he take thehonorable way out. Not saying that this happened but its no more far fetched than that someone murdered him.
I would expect that every inmate who had previously tried to kill themselves should be given a little more supervision. Did you not know that he’d attempted this a short time ago?
He was on suicide watch. He was the most endangered prisoner in the United States, based on the dirt he had on powerful people. Yes, he was supposed to be supervised. Are you being intentionally obtuse?
I’d say less far-fetched. If an eighteen-year-old girl could do it by text, how hard would it be for a prison guard, who has probably seen suicidal inmates before, to do it face to face?
Um, yeah. They have guards in towers and watching common areas through windows. When prisoners fight, it’s not like a spat between three-year-olds. And that’s for general population. I assume there’s a higher prisoner-to-guard ratio in the facility that Epstein was kept in.
Some talking head/former prosecutor who’s familiar with the facility said last night that Epstein was being held in a wing that is a hallway with all the cells on one side.
IIRC, he said, “Like a college dorm hallway with doors only on one side.”
He emphasized the layout was to make it easy to monitor the prisoners.
FWIW.
No, as of July 29 he was taken off suicide watch.
And why was that?
So Killary’s assassins could get in unnoticed and make it look like a suicide.
So he could commit suicide!
(Eventually, we’ll have Putin, Hillary, and Barr all accidentally meeting in Epsteins cell that night, ready to off the guy. “You want the first blow?” “‘Ladies first’, as they say in America, no?”)
It’s like there’s an echo in here.
This is the question, and on who’s orders. This is also where the shit starts rolling downhill.
There’s a new article saying that Epstein claimed to have dirt on some techies.
That reminded me of this particular piece of trivia that I found near-but-unrelated to Trump a while ago:
I can’t seem to find the same information as before but, I think, I read that he did the security system for Wynn’s casinos and worked for or with…IBM or some other big tech company.
Probably unrelated to Epstein as well, but… Doesn’t hurt to mention.
“ZUCK: DRUGGED AND FUCKED” screams future headlines.
Especially such a high profile one, that so many rich and powerful people would love to see “removed”.
Or, as was said …
