Well I had almost no enthusiasm for most of the F1 season, but it makes a change to the ordinary when a Brit wins something big.
ETA: And this is the second season in a row that it has been won by a Brit. First time ever that two consecutive F1 seasons have been won by different British drivers.
I’ve watched F1 for many many years but I can’t really get too happy about Button winning. In my opinion he won because of a ‘dodgy’ car design that broke the spirit of the rules and once that advantage was smoothed out his form nose-dived. I really wanted Vettel to win. Don’t get me wrong, I like Button, I just feel he is far from the best driver on the track.
I wont lose any sleep over it.
Looking forward to next year (and the last race)…
i think this season could have been great if the first 6 races wouldn’t have been all about Brawn. After that there has really been a mix of riders and acrs performing well. But i guess he deserved it for being so dominant early on (and Barrichello did have the same car but failde to beat him), also nice for him to do it in a race where he actually drove well.
