Alex had an abrupt jump cut edit right at the end of Final. He explained that there was a goof, and that (cryptically) the show was thinking of something else, and neglected to award the returning champion money for an answer (if not the final itself) and that they would reward the money in order to rectify the situation.
Can someone please elaborate on this?

What was the FJ clue? It sounds like Pentacost was originally ruled incorrect because they were expecting Last Supper, but Alex’s clip explained that they reversed that ruling. I gather this from the linked Jeopardy! thread.

Clue: Acts 1:13 says this event occurred in “an upper room”
I haven’t waded through that linked message board, so I don’t know if it was discussed there, but the correct answer is “What is picking a replacement for Judas Iscariot?”
As soon as I heard the clue, I figured it was too early in the Book of Acts to have been Pentecost, and there’s no way the Last Supper was discussed in Acts. It had to have been the replacement-picking; I looked it up, and sure enough it was.
