Aargh! I usually watch it at 3:30 when I’m at the gym, but I had to go in later because of a screwy schedule. When I got home to watch it at 6:30, it wasn’t there!! Mother-effing BASEBALL!!
So please, somebody tell me who won. Don’t make me wait all weekend to find out! Nothing yet on the Jeopardy forums or TWOP, or on Google news.
(Yes, I am a big old Jeopardy-watching loser and KenJen fan. I also have the last four ER eps stacked up on tape, awaiting the day when I have time to watch them.)
I watched it but I don’t remember the names. It wasn’t the young kid who makes $20,00 a year at Target or the older taller guy. The guy who won was the only one who got FJ right.
Doesn’t matter. My Ken will wipe the floor with them without breaking a sweat.
YEAH! Go Brad Rutter!! He was the one I was rooting for. If only Frank Spangenberg had won in the first semifinal. Somebody over on TWOP called Jerome the “poor man’s Ron Jeremy.” Ewwwww . . .
Still looking forward to seeing Ken kick both their asses. Should be some good games.
You can go to the show’s site and predict the winner of the upcoming 3-day tournament. Ken currently has 74% of the votes (including the one I just cast), while Brad is in second at 21% and Jerome lags far behind at 5%.
Brad Rutter annoys the hell out of me. He has the forced bonhomie and affected ways of someone fresh out of a “how to be a gameshow host” seminar held at the local Econo-Suites. He’s far too chatty and familiar with Alex and it just puts me on edge. Give me Ken Jennings’ humility any day.
Ken may win the tournament, but Brad will definitely give him a run for the money.
Since he is a local, you can definitely put me in the “Go Brad!” camp.
Yes I am aware of that. I just find his demeanor forced, as if he just came back from a cheesy seminar and is now implementing the “seven habits of effective game show hosts” or some such nonsense.
Since my main man Chuck Forrest is out of the competition, I’m rooting for Brad to at least give Ken a run for his money. The only thing I dislike about Brad is that he looks funny because he lost some weight since he he was on the show before. He looks better with a little meat on his bones.
Brad seemed a bit cautionary in his DD wagering, the very spot at which Ken was fond of picking up big bucks. Doesn’t Brad have to be more bold when he faces Ken and take more risk?
That was one of the first things that I noticed when I tuned into Inquizitive. I liked him better with that extra meat on his bones. But, c’est la vie!
