Jerry Lawler Collapses During WWE Raw

Andy did you hear about this one?

You have just described 'Professional Wrestling perfectly: “they live their lives in a fictional world and exagerrate everything.” A scripted show - that’s why wrestling is billed as ‘entertainment’ and why ‘World Championships’ are a fiction.

You’re lying. Every fan knows that the championship bouts are real, and that the best man on that day will be the champion. I find football, hockey, baseball, and the Three Stooges to be entertaining also. Are you going to tell me that all of those are a fiction too?

The piledriver is actually banned in the WWE. Only people that have permission to do it are allowed. The only 2 off the top of my head are Undertaker and Kane. I think HBK still did it after it was banned, but he did whatever he wanted anyways. Since I’m not used to seeing them anymore, they always look brutal. I think the Shooting Star Press and 450 Splash are also limited to just a couple of people. The Vertebreaker, as far as I know, isn’t allowed by anyone.

Lawler is awake and talking to friends. Still in serious but stable condition in the cardiac care unit.

I see what you did there…

Jerry posts a video thanking his fans.

He seems to be making a fast recovery. I do wonder if he’ll eventually need a bypass? He’s got three stents and angioplasty doesn’t always keep the artery’s open.

But, he’s doing great for a guy that needed 7 defibs to restart his heart. They may let him go home to Memphis in a few days.
