I still enjoy the show. (guess I’m just a moron)
I still keep yelling at suspects to shut the hell up when they are being threatened by McCoy because he doesn’t have them dead to rights like we are led to believe, but it’s still a neat show.
I was sorry to see that Orbach had passed on. He was looking ill during his last season on the show. I attributed it to his simply getting on in years.

Saw Orbach in 42nd Street on Broadway years ago…I really hated his character for some reason, but later realized that was kind of the point.
I liked him in Law and Order.
As far as the new show…please stop. I flip through the listings on my digital cable and can see three or more versions of Law and Order on at the same time!
To be honest, I don’t think I know which is which anymore although I loathe Law and Order CI. I just want to bitchslap that smug lead actor.
And CSI Miami sucks, and sadly, CSI NY is so dark and bleak, I don’t think I will even bother TiVOing it anymore. Only CSI Las Vegas still has some wit along with the dismal murders that makes the show watchable.
I do, however, like the idea of CSI Des Moines…dead squirrel, who poisoned the acorn!!!
