According to the psalmist all are gods, Psalm 81 inRCV,82 in KJV then Jesus backs this up in John 10 when accused of blasphemy.Plus we know that it is a fact that there is NOTHING ever written, taught , said, or thought that wasn’t from another human being, so in fact we are just taking the word of another human and it just depends on what human we choose to believe!
Since one says, God knows all things past, present, and future, then he must like to play games and doesn’t care if a child of his suffers it’s whole life time, and if the children don’t do exactly as he says they should do he punishes them or lets them harm themselves. If you knew your child had a gun that you gave the freedom to use, would you care if the child killed itself, or someone else? What kind of freedom is that and what kind of parent?
Did you know that most of the 10 commandments were a part of the Egyptian Book of the dead?
Why do you first assume that one is real?
With no need for evidence, logic or reason, what the OP has proposed is the equivalent of “Last Thursdayism”.
edited to add: And as I said before
I have yet to see a proponent of this philosophy act as if they actually believed it.
What is it that you think Jesus said that was primitive? Wasn’t he at the very least a man of peace and wisdom at a time when there wasn’t much of either (come to think of it, I don’t know there has ever been very much of either).
At the very least he was a very righteous and spiritual man.

Do suicides go to your hell?
Do fornicators and masturbators go to your hell?
I don’t think RedRain is coming back-we went off script.
Spirits, give us a sign!

If his message has been related accurately, I’d say he was fairly enlightened for the time. That said, I say he was primitive in that he was born in a primitive area, not as an attack at him personally.
But consider, you wouldn’t go to a first century engineer for advice on how to build a modern bridge. You wouldn’t go to a first century moneylender for advice on how to handle modern banking. You certainly wouldn’t go to a first century doctor for treatment if you had a choice. Similarly, I think it’s crazy to go to a first century person for advice on how to live your 21st century life.
Jesus was born and died never knowing what caused thunder. He believed in Demons. Why should I care what he thought I should pray to?
Yes and no… Some ideas are universally valid. We still go to a 3rd century BC philosopher for our logic!
(And a 4th century BC philosopher for our square roots!)
I come not to bring peace, but a sword". He’s a mythological figure, not a man* who is subject to heavy selective quoting to make him look like “a man of peace and wisdom” because at this time that’s popular. Even selecting only the nicer parts, what he said wasn’t particularly wise; on the contrary, it’s wholly impractical, which is why almost no one even tries to actually live the way he recommended. And teaching people that good = stupid is one of the many ways that Christianity has harmed our society.
- While there was probably a real person the myth is based on, it’s unlikely he did or said much of what is attributed to him
No, you’re thinking of Joe Pesci.
Buddha was also loving and wise and taught a lot of the same principles Jesus did.
I believe Jesus was one of a handful of human immortals who have heightened healing and tissue regeneration abilities. He studied with Buddha and then 600 years later tried to teach those same things to the Jewish people who were being oppressed by the Romans. After he was crucified his body did it’s thing and healed and thus began the rumors. He now wanders the earth living a few decades hear and there often as a teacher.
Morgan Freeman?
He also later met Buddha on the road and cut off Buddha’s head while screaming “There can be only one!”
Jesus: “Hey, I met him on the road! I was just doing what Buddha said!”
There can be only one!

You know nothing of my work.
I know you allow eight-year-old boys to see their parents gunned down in alleys. I know that I cannot trust in you after such atrocity.
I can only trust Batman.
Your whole fallacy is wrong.
Well, you say a lot of contradictory stuff. You’re a hard man to nail down.
