Jesus, lissener...

You’re entirely too nice, you know that? :stuck_out_tongue:

You are my new favorite doper, GED. You’re the most entertaining whackjob we’ve had here in a long, long time. Please, keep pitting me, this is priceless stuff.

I didn’t pit you, you moron.

You don’t hang out in the pit much do you?

He is pretty mild on the whackjob scale. I am not even convince he belongs on it at all. On the snarky one-liner scale he rates pretty highly though.

You do get, don’t you, that I didn’t call her a cunt? I have rarely used that word as a direct insult, and only when I really meant to wound. You should probably read it again. And listen to some Derek and Clive for a little desensitization. (And I wanna say it was Lisa Lampanelli who used that phrase, “punched her in the cunt,” in one of those Comedy Central Roasts. Shatner maybe?)

And this will surprise you; it surprised me: 166 hits.

And no one will be quicker to agree with you than I .

Well, I’ll continue, becuse that 'Kicking in the Cunt" is really as stunningly nasty as calling anyone a really obnoxious old school perjorative. I see it as simply dumb, so would like any other explaination as to why it’s funny. Really. just explain why it is; I’m open to a wide breadth of interpretation.

If it’s funny it’s funny; if it’s not, an explanation will not make it funny. Lavenderviolet “got” it, so that’s really all the explanation you need. OTherwise, browse the google hits, if you’re really that interested. It was funny the time I heard it, and it was funny (to me) at the time that I wrote the OP. End of a pretty insignificant story, until twix manufactured a tempest out of thin air; she still seems to think I either called the woman a cunt, or actually assaulted her.

Other than the use of an offensive word, is it worse than saying? “A kick in the balls.” I am not sure I get the outrage beyond the use of the word.

It’s the subtle sexism of the pedestal. Oh wait, I’M the misogynist. . . .

Why are you so offended that someone called you that? It’s not you’ve never called anyone that, right?

Sublime. Listen, can I like *pay *you to only ever post about me?

I doubt you could afford it.

Eh? That doesn’t follow. If you call someone a pejorative, it doesn’t follow that you would want to be called that yourself.

But I don’t get that he’s offended, or even that it’s not necessarily accurate. . .just that no one has brought up cites.

I’m hoping that someone brings up some cites. I was curious enough to look at his old posts. I didn’t see anything obvious. I did chortle at a few of his posts though. So there’s that.

ETA: Oh, and your interchange is amusing me, so there’s that too.

In the case for equality, Kick in the cunt would equal a kick in the balls, I’d think. And, so, if you were reading the OP thread and saw lissener saying, '“Of course, I kicked that idiot in the balls”, what would be your response? Too much for a customer who asked the wrong question? Sorry, it really seems too mean and stupid, not funny at all, with a mind that is very open-ended, black-humored, and wide margined. I was hoping someone could tell me why it was really funny, but, guess it’ll have to wait.

No, of course not. But, it kinda makes you a hypocrite, no?

You mean this much entertainment is free? I love this country.

Only if you’re a hypocrite, according to your brilliant logic. How such a frikkin genius got fired from Mythbusters I’ll never know.

I wouldn’t want you giving up lights or rent or something on my account. I’m not an animal.

Fine. Reread the OP with the phrase “decapitated her on a bus” inserted in place of “punched her in the cunt.”
