Jet Li missing after the Tsunami in Asia

[url=]Aint It Cool News is reporting that Jet Li and his family, who were vacationing in the Maldives island, have not been able to found since the tsunami.

Doesn’t mean he won’t turn up, of course. But It’s scary and sad. I don’t want to make the life of one actor is any more important than the thousands of other lives that were lost or destroyed, but this makes me sad anyway. I like Jet Li. He’s one of the only martial arts stars I’ve ever seen who can actually act I loved Hero.

Here’s hoping that he and his family are ok.

From what I’ve just read on the AICN update, Jet Li’s manager was able to get in touch with him and everything is well.

I was also worried about Arthur C. Clarke who lives in Sri Lanka, but he’s just posted a note on his site informing everyone he’s alive and well.

Whew.

I was wondering which well-know person or persons would be affected: there were some real rich people’s playgrounds hit. E.g. Prince Harry is known to party in Phuket.

I’ve never been so glad to have a thread become obsolete so quickly. I’m relieved that he’s ok (and Arthur C. Clarke as well…I’d wondered about him too).
