Or Drool Quest…or Jewel Crack…or whatever you call it.
Pretty Pretty Jewels disintegrating before my eyes with a pleasant jingle. I’ve completed all levels of Temple del Fuego with really only one minor issue from start to then. Even found a way to nail a 9000 bonus most of the time at the end of each frame. But that’s a mixed blessing. Because in the end it earns extra lives and means I have to run longer against the horror of the accursed blackfaces than is reasonable. Leapers! And there are three more levels after this?
I am humbled by this puzzle game and yet addicted to it.
How the crap did you get through all the levels? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve replayed boards in the 2nd and 3rd levels, and I’ve never made it out of the third level yet. After the masks that undo what you match in level 2, and the squares that turn first to silver and then to gold–combined with the evil masks–in level 3, I hate to think what lies ahead.
Heh…never made it past the evil blackfaces. Got well into the inner temple vs. them before giving up (I refuse to restart my score and maintain my position, when I die I start over).
It’s a PC game. I’ve actually seen it for sale at Target, tho I just downloaded it for $20. Surf a bit, you should be able to locate a 60 minute demo edition that gets fully activated when you pay up. It’s a match 3+ type game.
Thanks. I’ve cleared Luxor and Zuma, and played Karu a few times and liked it.
I downloaded Jewel Quest from Real Arcade, and remembered playing it before. I’m partial to games where the playing surface uses the whole screen. Old eyes and all that.
Another fun match-3 game is Chuzzle. I think it takes the prize for cuteness. It’s the only game I play with the sound On.
