In today’s New York Times (link, registration required) is the touching story of clerics in Jerusalem in order to stop gay people from having a festival in the city.
How touching. Perhaps we could use this modest beginning to work for world peace.

I’m greatly disappointed, but not at all surprised, that these three religions have so muchy trouble coming together under a banner of love, but so little coming together under a banner of hatred.
And there was a high ranking Sikh official in Canada making similar noises recently. I agree, right now, my faith in humanity in general is down in the dumps. It seems most of the planet views us a second-class or sub-human.
