Jews, Christians and Muslims Working Together

In today’s New York Times (link, registration required) is the touching story of clerics in Jerusalem in order to stop gay people from having a festival in the city.

How touching. Perhaps we could use this modest beginning to work for world peace.

(On the plus side, the article has a nice photograph. I think the third guy from the left has the nicest hat. Greek Orthodox?)

As I said in a recent thread:

Well, said, Matt. I must have missed that.

All hail discordia.

I’m greatly disappointed, but not at all surprised, that these three religions have so muchy trouble coming together under a banner of love, but so little coming together under a banner of hatred.

It’s really disappointing for the human race. :frowning:

Fixed title.

Ugh…I came in here to quip,"…to destroy those darn Hindus!" but the truth of it all just makes me sad :frowning: .

And there was a high ranking Sikh official in Canada making similar noises recently. I agree, right now, my faith in humanity in general is down in the dumps. It seems most of the planet views us a second-class or sub-human. :frowning:

goes out, kicks stone around until feeling better:mad: :frowning:

Who’s catching the next bus to Mars with me?
