Jingle Bells, Batman smells... fill in the rest

We have had thread about this before, but not for quite a while.

Please fill in your local lines from your childhood, as you might remember them.

As best as I can recall:

Jingle Bells, Batman smells,
Robin laid an egg;
Batmobile
Lost a wheel,
And the joker got away!

I came here to write what Spoons already did.

From suburban Chicago, early '70s

version 1

Jingle Bells, Batman smells
Robin laid an egg
Batmobile lost a wheel
And the Joker got away

version 2

Jingle Bells, Batman smells
Robin laid an egg
Batmobile lost a wheel
And the Commissioner broke his leg

Bonus: a verse that my cousin and I wrote, to match the choruses above:

They went to Joker’s hideout
They thought they’d make it big
The Minstrel* played the music and
They did a little jig
Batman on his Batcycle
Robin on his scooter
Racing to the Batcave
To use the Batcomputer

*- Van Johnson played The Minstrel on the 1960s Batman TV series, which my cousin and I watched a lot in re-runs; I suspect that an episode with him had recently been shown when we wrote these lyrics.

I got “and now it can not peel” for the last line.

There was a GORGEOUS Sergio Aragones cartoon of the Justice League singing that, all in beatific song except Batman, who is scowling even more than usual. Um…Can anyone find a link to that image? I’ve searched and don’t find it…

Jingle bells, Batman smells
A thousand miles away
Blows his nose in Cheerios
And eats them every day.

I haven’t seen that, but this has been a meme for the past couple of years:

Spoons’s version, except the second line was “40 miles away.” Chicago, late sixties.

From my days as an elementary school teacher, NY state, Spoons’s version except the last line was “and the joker played ballet.” Go figure.

Batman’s in the kitchen.
Robin’s in the hall.
Joker’s in the bathroom,
Pissing on the wall!

What Spoons said.

Though some kid from another neighborhood once told me the last line was “Alfred broke his leg.”

I was told of the two alternate last lines one right after the other on the school bus. I don’t think the guy who taught it to me had a preference, and kids in DC seem to be split fairly equally on which they prefer.

Dashing thru the snow
In a one-door Chevrolet
O’er the fields we go
Skidding all the way
Hubcaps falling off
When we must make a turn
If we could just get a job
Some money we could earn

What’s the matter with you all? The correct lines are:

Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin flew away,
Uncle Billy lost his willy on the motorway.

I assume this is the same Uncle Billy from the following ditty:

Uncle Billy had a 10 foot willy and he showed it to the girl next door,
She thought it was a snake and cut it with a rake and now it’s only 5 foot 4.

I remember Uncle Billy, that’s a British kids’ one, right?
I’m pretty sure Americans don’t have willies.

These are the exact lines Mark Hamill sang in the cartoon per him on Twitter.

Yup.

Bart Simpson, too, only he sang “broke its wheel.”

We had the Robin laid an egg version but I first learned…

Rudolph ran away
Stuffed his nose with Cheerios and ate 'em on the way…

Boston suburbs, late 70s.

Yes, thought that might be the issue. Or motorways.
