I am looking for a job and I have an interview coming up. They are asking me for former supervisors which is OK except for 1 job I do not recall the name of my supervisor. I was only there for about 4 months, it’s on my resume so I cannot leave it off. This was about 11 years ago, that’s why I do not recall his name.
Can I just write “do not recall” or something similar to that? I don’t want to leave it blank.
a four month long job from 11 years ago? There’s about a 1% chance your supervisor is still there and a .0001% chance they’ll call that supervisor even if you knew his or her name.
I’m not sure what you should put down but “do not recall” would most likely work.
Put the manager’s title or what you imagine their title might have been.
Make up a name. They’re not going to call and even if they do, the company won’t have that information readily available.
