Jodie Foster -- phenom.

I can’t think of any other actress who has gotten prettier as she’s gotten older. When she was young, like in Taxi Driver, she looked like a tomboy. But I just saw her on Leno and she looks fantastic!

thumpety thumpety thump

I think I’m in love. [/blush]

Oh yeah. I think I’m about the same age as her, and when I was a kid and she was a child actress for some reason I disliked her a lot.

But man, she grew up beautiful. I see her now and think, “yeah, I’d pop a cap in Reagan for her!” (Just kidding, just kidding. Of course, he’d be easier to hit nowadays, just stand over the grave…)

Talent, brains and beauty personified. She also has a lot of couth, keeping her personal life private and surviving that whole Hinkley/Reagen mess intact.

I agree with you on all these counts. She also has the one thing that very few people have and that is “grace.”
I think she’s beautiful, a wonderful actress and director and have more respect for her than any other “celebrity” because she doesn’t live the life of a celebrity.
*and hell yes, I’m going to go see Flight Plan this weekend. I read the script a year and a half ago and have been pining for it to come out.

She’s a year younger than me, so when I see her in a movie, I always know how old I was when it as made. My first movie I saw was hers too (I think)…Samantha and Napolean…about a lion they raised or something like that. I’ve admired her since way back, seems very classy.

I hope you’re female.

From imdb bio Trivia list…

Enjoys kickboxing, yoga, karate, aerobics, and weightlifting
Majored in literature at Yale; graduated magna cum laude in 1985
Measurements: 34B-24-33 1/2

I don’t think I could keep up even if she were interested in me.

Yep. She’s phenomenal.

Do doo do doo do.

I’ve had a crush on her since I was like 10 years old. She’s terrific.

Just saw Flightplan; I recommend it. Always liked Jodie Foster. She’ll still look in 20 years, too; good bone structure.

Who cares what she looks like? Her voice is pure honey… <drooling>

Good News! The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane is coming to DVD on October 4th.
If you’ve never seen it, you’ve gotta see it.

Netflix doesn’t appear to have Little Girl Who Lived Down the Lane.

No, NoCoolUserName, I am not female. Still I have no illusions that she’d have the slightest interest in me.

Confession! My first erection (that I can recall) was on seeing Jodie in Tom Sawyer . I think I was about nine, and she about twelve.

Flight Plan is quite good.

I thought see looked her absolute best in Maverick.
She was absolutely radiant.

She’s amazing. Her intelligence, focus, and grace just shine through. While I’m definitely hetero, I can imagine falling for her.

I’ve read disappointing reviews of Flightplan though. Did anyone love it?

I’ll second that.

Did not love Flightplan, but liked it quite a bit.
Have always enjoyed Foster’s work and respected her as a person.
I agree that she is aging gracefully and beautifully.
