Joe Judge

Do you think that the new New York Giants head coach Joe Judge will be good or not?

I know absolutely nothing about Judge, other than he was on Belichick’s staff in New England. And, while the Patriots have been insanely successful under Belichick, his former assistants in New England who have moved on to head coaching positions with other NFL teams have generally not been particularly successful – the closest thing to a success story is, I think, Bill O’Brien in Houston, who’s 54-48 in six seasons.

Beyond O’Brien, you have guys like Eric Mangini, Romeo Crennel, Josh McDaniels, and Matt Patricia, who haven’t come close to replicating their Patriots success in other places.
