I haven’t seen every movie John Cusack (a great actor) has appeared in, but I’ve noticed that he seems to always have a scene where he’s outside in the rain. I’ve noticed this most recently in “America’s Sweethearts”, “Being John Malkovich”, and “High Fidelity”. I think he also had a rain scene in “Say Anything”. Any movie trivia buffs out there notice this too?
He doesn’t in ‘Roadside Prophets’ but maybe this is a new fad.
He’s got one in “The Sure Thing.” But it’s not quite the same him-out-alone-in-the-rain schtick as “High Fidelity” et. al. He doesn’t have one in “Better Off Dead” or in “Grosse Point Blank.”

I’m pretty sure he has one in One Crazy Summer.
I don’t think he has one in Pushing Tin but he does submerge himself in a stream to the same effect.
He didn’t have a rain sceene in Sixteen Candles and I’m pretty sure he didn’t in The Grifters. Course, those were fairly early in his career, so he didn’t have his rep, yet.
Did I miss a meeting???
When was it and who decided that HE would become a LEAD/MOVIE STAR?
This man is a SUPPORTING actor!
There! I’ve said it and I’m glad!
Sheesh.
Have you seen High Fidelity? Hello! Leading man in the best romantic comedy of the last ten years.
Ripped off of an Academy nomination.
