I cant help it…I think it started with High Fidelity and grew with Being John Malcovitch. Now I sit watching 16 Candles and I am again reminded of the…obsession. Damn Joan…damn her. Maybe its just the amazing talent of being able to play an character thrown at him. sigh

But this is added to the obsession with:
Brandon Boyd (Incubus)
Jake Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko)
Will Kemp (hot dancing Gap guy)
Andrew McMahon (Something Corporate)
And others that I just cant think of right now… :slight_smile:

feels like giddy little teenager…then remembers that she IS a giddy little teenager… What fools these mortals be…

It’s okay, honey. I am in love with Christopher Walken, David Attenborough, and Alan Arkin. (anyone seen Catch 22? ). They don’t always have to be pretty to be cerebral and sexy. And John Cusack in Pushing Tin and Grosse Pointe Blank will reinforce that sexy scowl-dry wit-sarcastic banter appeal for you.

and I am not a giddy teenager, but a rather good-looking and relatively well-adjusted 30 year old- that nerdy-boy appeal it never gets old…

John ain’t worth it. Take it from me; I went to middle school and high school with him. Let’s just say he wasn’t very nice to those outside his social circle and leave it at that.

(I hear Joan and his other sisters are nice, though.)
