Weird famous-people crushes

I find myself more and more interested in Dudley Klute of Magnetic Fields.
I wonder how many other people have ever said a thing like that.

I also had the hugest crush on Edward Scissorhands (not Johnny Depp, just Edward). And Florian Schneider from Kraftwerk. He’s dreamy.

I also remember being 13 or so and thinking that Yahoo Serious was totally hot. I usually don’t admit that one, though.

It’s strange what famous people you find yourself drawn to.

Oh yeah-

Crispin Glover. I liked his album.

I had the biggest crush on James Cagney when I was 16.
Go figure.
My current crush is William Wallace, as portrayed by Mel Gibson. Not that Mel Gibson is crush worthy, something about the Scottish Romanticism.

Doh!

Not that Mel Gibson isn’tcrush worthy

totally totally in love with and I get giggly at the sight of:

Tony Blair.

i’m in love with Tony Blair. There, I said it. I watch CSPAN just to see him yell at the parliament.

jarbaby

Ever since Demolition Man I’ve wanted Sandra Bullock. I even went so far as to see The Net. Horrible movie.

Anyway, I don’t know if that qualifies as weird, but I’ve never really heard anyone else mention her.

I almost hate to admit this to the world, but I have always had a huge crush on Jon Cryer, the geeky “Ducky” of Pretty in Pink. I even went to see the bad rip off of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” (Morgan Stewart Comes Home) just to watch him!!

I, uhm, well . . . Okay, I’ll just admit it.

I have a crush on Dan Rather.

I am not joking.

Ducky?

I forgot about him! He’s wonderful! I was always mad in Pretty in Pink when she went out with the other guy instead.

I forgot my other weird one.

Um…

I really liked Abraham Lincoln. Especially in fourth grade.

I guesss this means I’m not allowed to laugh at Dan Rather.
(Snicker)

I am in love with, just totally mad wild for, Johnny Rotten. John Lydon, also, but I prefer that ugly acne-scarred twenty year old. He drives me wild. I love him.
I think Lee Harver Oswald is hot.
Also, I have a giant crush on both Ralph Nader and Joe Lieberman.

Benicio Del Toro, hands down. I watched that horrific Way of the Gun thing just to see him smoke. He’s too fucking cool.

I also have a thing for Rik Mayall in Drop Dead Fred. Someone that can have that much uninhibited fun is perfect for me, even if he DOES dress like that.

David Silveria from KoRn. Is that strange?

When adolescence hit, one of my biggest crushes was on Roddy McDowell. (I still find him extremely attractive!)

I have a HUGE crush on James Gandolfini.

I have had some very interesting dreams involving him.

Back during the Gulf War I had one hell of a crush on Margaret Tutweiler. She was just so…Forceful!

Turpentine, I swear I see more resemblances between us every day.

I too had a crush on Abraham Lincoln. And Ulysses Grant!

And I’m still madly in love with Edward Scissorhands, and no, I don’t mean Johnny Depp either. In fact, I have a big picture of him on my Psychology notebook. People think I’m loony.

I have a thing for Steve Buschemi. He’s not that attractive, but there’s just something about him…

And Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins…don’t even get me started on him.

Yul Brynner and Tim Curry. I can’t explain it, I won’t even try. But every time a movie comes on with one of these two in it, I am glued to the TV.

looks around nervously

Barbara Walters.

sneaks away rapidly

I have undying crushes on F. Scott Fitzgerald, John Linnell of They Might Be Giants, Jon Stewart, Steve Martin, Mike Nelson, and Richard E. Grant.

Welfy and I will just have to share Steve Buschemi. I call holidays and weekends!

Rich Eisen.
Keith Olbermann.
Steven Page of BNL.
Atlanta Braves’ catcher Javier Lopez.

And I used to have a mad crush on Joel from MST3K.

My huge crush was on John Candy. I was crushed when he died.
