Jon Stewart counts as a weird famous-person crush? Jeez, I thought he was one of my normal crushes.
OK, my weird crush is on Cookie, one of the (fictional) hosts from “You Don’t Know Jack.” I realize that you can’t see him or anything, but his voice alone gives me shivers.
I also have a little bit of a weird thing for Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The guy that played Mr. Humphries on the British comedy Are You Being Served was very sexy, and so was Jeremy Irons as Humbert in the 1997 version of Lolita.
I’ve also, at any given time, had crushes on F. Scott Fitzgerald, T.S. Eliot, and Dustin Hoffman.
But hands down, thw weirdest of weird, the most shocking of all, is my obsession with Jamie Shea, NATO spokesman extraordinaire, aka Director of Information and Press. I wish I could do that cool think where I link behind his name, but you’ll just have to settle for this:

Call me weird, but one day about two years ago I was watching CSPAN and saw one of his briefings.
His lips had me at hello (what a cute mouth! I love pouty lips!) but when he started talking fluent French, I was snookered! And he’s all powerful and in command. Even though I’m not too taken with the recent bombings of Yugoslavia, I still think he’s sexy as hell. YumMAY! A smart man with a sexy mouth. That’s reall all I’m looking for!
Now if that isn’t weird as hell, I don’t know what is.

Does anyone remember the show “You Can’t Do That On Television”? My first major famous-people crush, at around age 11 was on the character “Christine”. I thought she was beautiful. Just saw a rerun lately, and she still seems pretty cute, if not beautiful. Wonder what she looks like today? Second major famous-people crush was at around age 13. The object of my desire? Cyndi Lauper. In fact, I still think she’s pretty attractive. There… now my secrets are out!
Since I was of “crush” age in the mid-to-late 70s, most of mine are from that era of bad cop shows:

I remember as a kid being smitten with the girl in Escape From Witch Mountain. And of course we were all hot for Marcia Brady. The ones I would never tell anyone about, though, were Kristy McNichol from Family and Martina Navratilova.

All my friends look at me funny whenever I mention Jodie Foster. Oh my gosh ohhhh what I’d do for her. Other than that I realize famous people thingies are unatainable so I don’t bother besides my girlfriend says I’m not allowed to drool over famous people anymore. Both myself and my girlfriend want to have sex with Jeanine Garofalo. And if I was gay I’d want to do Niles from *Frasier[/], but only if he stayed in character.
Heh, I think Janeane Garofalo is hot too. I don’t know what it is about sarcastic SNL brunettes…anyway, at the time I met my wife I liked Ms. Garofalo so much my wife has given me permission to have sex with her if I ever get the chance…I’m considering asking if I can swap her for Tina Fey.
A couple of my male friends used to watch the syndicated show Hercules. One time I happened to be visiting when they watched and I developed the biggest crush on Michael Hurst (Iolus). So much so that I actually watched the show until it ended it’s run a few years later. I’ll still watch a re-runs if I’m home. :o
I also have a crush on Michael Burger. He used to be on an old “Good Morning” type show called Mike&Matey, then co-hosted some home & family show on the Family channel. He even hosted the remake of The Match Game.
