Anyone recall the title of the John Grisham novel in which the protagonist speaks with some minor characters who are Methodists, but make some mildly disparaging remarks about the lyrical or musical abilities (hymn writing or hymn tune writing) of Charles or John Wesley?
I was chatting with my (Methodist) minister today about the stuff we read on airplanes and this snippet came to mind but I could not recall the title.
