Yes, I did give you the point that I should not point my flames at the American people, but the admin. And yes, many many other gov’t are responsible for great atrocities in the world. Why did I pick the US, in this instance, because it was/is the US that is declaring the “War on Terrorism.”

I did not say the “paved with gold” phrase, btw. And as for what the two statements I made with reference to Iran and Nicaragua had to do with anything, they were in response to you asking me what the US (gov’t NOT people) had done to deserve any my ire?
I live in France. I have a US passport and could also have another but choose not to. I was not born in the US and have not lived in the US permanently for about 10 or so years. Does that make any difference at all? I think not.

I’m not really up to speed on this whole argument. However, as a fellah that met an Afghani-born worker who fled the Taliban one year ago, for fear of his life, I think I can take a little pride after watching some of the fresh gun-camera footage that came back from the missions.
Nobody should have to live in that sort of fear. That’s why I do what I do.
