I’ll watch - I saw it when it first came out on a double bill with that weird bio-pic of Hank Williams starring George Hamilton. I was young at the time and they both seemed strange to me.
Well, it wasn’t no Mighty Wind, was it, TV time? But then, for its time I guess it was okay. I have always liked the song “Abilene”, by George Hamilton IV, and it brought back fond memories, but all the bona-fide actors acted like they were on the old late 60’s Batman series!
And how about that one guitar that looked like it had horns? I think my DopeStock4 buddies would either turn and run or laughed their asses off, if I came on with that monstrosity. Hell, it’s probably worth thousands today!
Nice seeing Mr. Cash in an early role, however. He had presence even then…
Q
Who was the tall skinny woman who sang that awesome murder ballad in a bikini?
Great show! I was a survivor of the Great Folk Music Scare and used to run home every Saturday night to watch it. And Jack Linkletter was so cool! I mean, Jack Linkletter was so awful!
Never heard of the movie, though. Oooh! Judy Henske! I still have a crush on her.
Dude! Did you mean awesome or awful??? I didn’t think that thing was ever gonna end! And did it even have a bridge? I mean, it sounded like it just kept building and building…And how come I don’t remember her???
Oh, yeah. Now I remember why I don’t remember her!
