More MPSIMS really, but I’ll link for fellow 70s/80s sitcom buffs. Joyce Dewitt is still cute; Somers comes off as her usual vapid self. While cordial to each other, the fact the two have had no contact in 30 years is really apparent, such as when Somers asks if Dewitt’s parents are still alive.
I’m guessing this will be like the big Dean Martin:Jerry Lewis reunion where they didn’t speak again for many years. Lewis never quite seemed to grasp that Martin, famous for being detached anyway, really and truly had no use for him and saw him strictly as a former business partner.
From what I had read/heard. The feud was never between these two, it was between Suzanne and the producers based on bad career advice from her husband at the time. I have never heard Joyce or John say anything bad about Suzanne, only pity.
I think **Sampiro **hit it. They seemed about as happy as I would be speaking on TV with somebody that I used to work with 30 years ago… I don’t see another one in 30 years!
