The writer and singer of one the greatest one hit wonders, “Judy in Disguise (with glasses)”, has died.
That’s one of my favorite songs.
Rest in peace, Mr. Gourrier.

“Judy” has to be one of the grooviest oldies evah.
If someone had asked me who sang/wrote that song, I would never in a million years have been able to answer it.
I always thought it was by Lovin’ Spoonful or some 60’s group like that.
Was a great song, though…
Still have ‘Judy in Disguise’ on an old 45 vinyl record.
Just might put it on the turntable tonight to pay my respects.
