:mad: I hate that MPSIMS is now listed out longhand. It makes the Jump to Forum drop down look silly for the shorter more reasonably named forums. That is all.
Agree. I guess all the hordes of newbies weren’t able to figure out what MPSIMS means? I’m sure this will totally bring an end to people posting things in the wrong forum. :dubious:

Something as simple as “Random Thoughts” would be completely out of the question, since people have already memorized MPSIMS.
I’d never have started a gripe about this, but since it’s here…the forum name is nothing less than stupid. Good thing we revised it to a more lengthy, fully explained version of that stupid forum description. :rolleyes:
There has to be a word for when geeky people think that they’re being funny by being overly verbose, I think the word is lame.
Eh, it’s kind of an inside joke rather than geeks trying to be funny. Bitching about it is about as worthwhile as complaining that it’s called “The Straight Dope” and not “Smart guy.”
Remember the old comedy bit where you look up a word, say “Mundane” and it says “See tedious” so you look up “Tedious” and it refers you to “tiresome” and then you look up “Tiresome” and it refers you to “Mundane”?
