For those that are interested, there are nationwide events planned June 30 to protest Trump administration policies that have created the situation with children and parents separated on our borders. Trump may have signed an order, but it remains to be seen how it will be enacted, and how the already impacted families will be reunited. This page has more information, including which cities will have events.

Since many us, including myself, are upset by this situation, I thought I would share this.

I’ll assume June 30 was chosen because of so many Pride events going on this weekend. It’ll be interesting to see how hot this issue will be 8 days from now. I’m going to consider attending, as of now the Chicago event says 1080 people going.

I’ll be in NH, en casa, but there’s a planned interfaith meeting at a synagogue which sounds kind of interesting.

I and a big bunch of friends will be at the Eugene event.
