Okay I’ll start by saying I’m not really a mom but the things I have noticed just this past week have me both infuriated…and worried about the future of this world.
I just had foot surgery about 2 weeks ago…afterwards I went out to eat had my foot propped up on the booth when a family walked past and a child… oh say 7 or 8 reached out and punched the bottom of my foot…obviously injued seeing the bandages on it. The parents saw yet had nothing to say… why isn’t respect being taught anymore???
Again I was appauled seeing 2 young children running around unattended and a very large grocery store…does no one think about saftey???
And again in a large book store a child running around unattended knocked my crutches right out from under me…not even a “excuse me” or “I’m sorry” there no respect and NO concern for saftey. This is the reason so many children are kidnapped… the parents don’t seem to be doing their part in keeping an eye out for their well being.
Now I know there are parents out there who take very good care of their children and keep a very close eye on them and may I say THANK YOU and offer you my HIGHEST respet…but for those of you who let your children run amuck in public places like this…WHY think about how easy it is for someone to just pick them up and walk out…WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??? This is also physically dangerous for the kids and others around them especially if you aren’t teaching them to respect other people… a child is one of the most precious things God can bless you with why on earth would you give anyone the slightest chance to steal that away from you???
