Just another manic Moanday MMP

Morning all you Mumpers. Yes, tis that most favorite day of the week MOANDAY.

Happy New Week!

First. Now I have to leave for work in about fifteen minutes.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 56 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 65 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. It’s clean da cave day. Rah. Actually the place is not too bad but could use a spiffin’ up so I shall. We shall sup upon chikin enchiladas, OLE!

What do you call a person who likes Moanday?

Retired!

Thank You! I’ll be here all week. Try the wait staff! Tip the veal!

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy says it’s hungry. Then, well, onward into the day!

Happy Moanday Y’all!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work. It’s raining.

It’s still raining. That means the drive in was marginally scary. Dark is bad enough, but add wet roads that reflect oncoming lights off the pavement so you can’t see the lines in the road… But I got here alive, so there’s that.

I forgot to remind **FCD **that the furnace guys are coming this morning. I’ll try calling around 7:30, but if his phone is in the living room, he may not hear it. That’s the disadvantage of not having a land line. Oh well…

Much paper on my desk = much busy today.

Happy Moanday!!

It’s about 25F here with 20 mph north winds and snow showers. Winter is still here. At irk which is irksome. Tonight is my first weigh in at Weight Watchers. Fingers crossed. Dinner is leftover Swedish meatballs from last night. Saw Paddington 2 yesterday and loved it.

Howdy from Irk. I need to head out to the Pubic Sto’ for some vittles. The cupboard is bare at irk.

What kind of vittles do you have at work? Someone in our company goes to BJs for the coffee, tea, sodas and snacks in our break rooms. Wonder if his/her job description reads “shopping”?

Lunch time. Yay!!

Furnace guys didn’t find anything wrong - they even tested the exhaust. So that was $100 we didn’t need to spend. Dammit. At least it wasn’t a repair costing more.

A couple days ago, I came to terms with my roommate over him selling me his old XBox 360, so I could ship it to my sister in Nevada for her birthday. (She turns 33 today.) $175 for a system that already has like 95 games on it (including Skyrim, Borderlands 2, and Batman: Arkham City) and 100 GB of free space. I’m shipping it out to her today, and when I get paid on the 2nd, my roommate will get his money.

I’ve also purchased a Plug and Charge kit for the system; that’s already in transit from Amazon.

Mooommmm I usually keep stuff to make a sandwich with. I also got some halo’s mandarins, chips and salsa. I also keep us stocked up with coffee, tea, creamer…And of course something chocolate. I have found it is much more economical just to have a sammie. I would not want to blow my $12 a week on eating out.:stuck_out_tongue:

Welcome back ekedolphin er Flipper

Being this () close to actually being Amish I have NO idea what any of that means but I am glad that it resulted in an order to Amazon. If you ever need/want your shipping label translated into English just let me know. I may not know for sure just what an xBox is (other than some game thingy) but I do know what CVG4-SAT6-Dy80ydr means.

Considering leftover chili for dinner before I head for above-mentioned Jungle.

I am snuggled in with a warm dog, with a cup of coffee within arm’s reach.

I have no idea what the day will bring. Only [del]more coffee[/del] time will tell.

I am caffeinating and I am up- a far cry from sheveled, though.

Evenin’ all.

Weekend away was fun, but I didn’t get much sleep (dorm rooms, creeeeeeaky beds) and I feel like I haven’t really stopped all week. Not the best timing really, 'cos today was day 1 of three weeks of work placement, so I kind of needed to be awake and paying attention to stuff. Pretty interesting stuff though.

Early nights this week, I reckon, but I need to catch up on stuff like washing and tidying up as well. Anyone fancy coming over to sort my flat out?

Watching the MST3K version of “Squirm” ----- life doesn’t get much better than that.

OK ---- Monty Python.

Now if we could just get MST3K to riff “Jabberwocky”.

I have spiffed da cave and have chikin enchiladas (OLÈ!) ready to bake and fixin’s all prepped. Go Me! The sun finally came out about an hour ago. Yay for that.

{{{Flipper}}} ::tacklehug:: welcome back! Sounds like a  gift for your sis.

Well, that was different.

Took a nap yesterday that lasted until 7Pm. Then stayed up until after midnight because (surprise) I wasn’t tired. So up at 5am to micturate, then went back to be and didn’t get up until almost 9am. So this day is a mess and I need to not lay down and try to get back on some type of schedule.

Made out my February grocery list, but will probably not go shopping until Wednesday, as I read (after all, the internet would not lie to me, would it?) that is the best day to shop.

Need to clean up my computer room some, but rest of the house looks OK (for a single lazy male definition of OK).

Just a warning :

heres the thing about buying used x boxes with the downloaded games still on them they might not work because there tied to the xbox live account that bought then and if ms thinks someones selling an live account they may just brick the whole thing

You or her should read up on the policies before any moneys paid because people have paid money for things ms wont let them use …

Happy Moonday!

It’s a not so chilly 46 degrees outside.
It’s supposed to be PDC tomorrow, when I have to go out early for a blood test.

I slept almost all day yesterday, and I’m having trouble staying awake today.
I don’t feel sick, just very, very tired.

You seem to have a cough; here you go.

P.S. Too many vocals in the the first link of those Todd Rundgren fans.

Definitely stay up; maybe follow some links on your computer.
