Hmmm…sorry if I offended anyone. I thought it was understood that this was The Pit, and I was just having a little fun ranting about a particular thing that annoys me. I’ve stated several times now that I don’t make a habit of being rude to service employees; does that mean I’m not allowed to rant about it? You should tell Dennis Miller, because he wouldn’t have had a career if that were the case.
As for my comments to other posters, I try not to make a habit of being a smart ass to anyone UNLESS THEY DID IT FIRST. In the case of baltotop, it was this comment:

Seriously? You are basing your opinion of how I interact with others in society based on a BBQ Pit thread? I can’t tell you how wrong you are. Although, if I DID go to a fast-food place, and some sniveling, pimple-faced employee told me to “answer the questions and stop whining”, I suppose I might have some choice words for that individual. Fortunately, that has never happened, because an internet message board is not the same as real life. I know, shocking - isn’t it?:eek:

I’m very much aware that a message board is not the same as real life, but thanks ever-so-much for that clarification. OTOH, I believe you can learn a great deal about someone from what they post on said message board, particularly their general attitudes. You’ve got the condesending thing down pat.
