The car has to make it 200 miles…then it can die on the spot for all I care (it’s junk anyway). The train will take me the rest of the way home. Of course, my father doesn’t know yet–he thinks I’ll be getting home by rental car sometime in the afternoon. It ought to be interesting :o
Yeah, the east-coast west and back again is pretty rough, but my mother really wanted to see me before I had to go back to Bard (and she didn’t ask before getting the tickets :)).

That’s so nice though. Tahoe, you said, right? I went up there one winter, and it was beautiful. I’ve never seen it in the summertime, though. I can’t imagine that place without snow everywhere.

No, by all means, complain about a 1 hour commute; they suck. I did one of those for a while…even just as a passenger it’s very “ugghhh”.

I try to trim it every now and then, for both convenience and just because it’s better for the hair. Plus it’s summertime, and shorter hair is cooler.
I catch the bus, and I sleep for most of the hour. It makes the ride go by so much faster. I should be used to it by now, though; I’ve been commuting that way for over ten years now.
Great hands, sweetie! But, after all, you did have 17 hours worth of suntan lotioning for practice…

Speaking of hair cutting, I think mine’s time has come again…it needs to fit under a fencing mask (though not for a few months yet)…but more importantly, it needs to stop growing straight out to the side
