Ok, Monday we have (yet another) bus heading to Atlantic City crash on the Garden State Parkway . It happens at least two or three times a year, and I’m looking at this as a “not too bad” one since nobody died this time.
BERKELEY – Forty-one passengers on an Atlantic City-bound bus were injured yesterday when it crashed into a car on the rain-slicked Garden State Parkway, skidded about 100 yards and smashed into several trees, State Police said.
Well, I guess the bus decided it liked the taste of blood, but not killing anyone wouldn’t stand .
JACKSON – An Essex County man died today when he was crushed by the disabled bus he was preparing to tow to North Jersey for repairs, according to a preliminary investigation.
Franklin Delarosa, 38, of Belleville was found dead about 10 a.m. by a worker at All Hours Towing on the corner of Sterling and Edison Avenues, which is near Route 527 at the Dover Township boundary, said township police Capt. David Newman.
The bus has sat at All Hours since Monday, when it was towed there after its involvement in a Garden State Parkway accident that day, said township police Detective Lt. John Siedler. Forty one, all passengers on the bus, were injured when the bus collided with a car, skidded about 300 feet and hit trees on a Berkeley Township section of the Parkway.
